Nice Restaurant. The food has good taste. The Staff is very interactive and help you choose the right menu for the occasion. The starter bread was so fresh and yummy taste. Ambience was also good. Thank you Megan and Nancy for the dinner at Brickyard Cafe.
It gets 3 stars ONLY for the atmosphere, decor and wait staff. They Closed for my husbands work Christmas party and the food was buffet style. The food was bland, over cooked, dry and boring. Desserts were awesome. EXTREMELY disappointed in the food. Restaurants in the end are ab the food...and the food was terrible.
This historical restaurant was recommended to us by a rest stop employee a month ago. It was so work there side trip! Everything was perfect..food and employees!
The lasagna was absolutely excellent. A very tangy an well balanced tomato sauce. I love the brickwork and old style wood floor motif of the interior of this restaurant. Great place for lunch. Surprisingly few people on the day we were here. This maybe a well kept secret?
This place is incredible. What a find. You can tell they care about food. The ingredients and the preparation of the food was superb. Even the little things like salad dressing is made in house. I was sopping up the honey mustard with their homemade bread. Everything we had for lunch was delicious. Even the tea! We started our lunch with potato soup. It was the best I've ever eaten. You know how most potato soup is white, not this one. It was a light brown color. My guess is they started the soup with a roux like in New Orleans. Rich and creamy. You could really taste the cream and butter! More like a bisque. And it was seasoned perfectly, no need for salt or pepper. OMG! With the fresh, soft white homemade bread to help sop it up. OMG! This could of been lunch all by itself. I could go on and on. Support this restaurant.
